NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs
This project began as an introduction to 3D modeling using Autodesk Maya. I created and rendered several objects, then incorporated them into a 2D advertisement to explore how 3D assets can enhance graphic design. Working between 3D and 2D allowed me to experiment with lighting, depth, and perspective in ways that would be difficult to achieve with traditional design tools alone. The process also helped me better understand how dimensional elements can support composition and visual storytelling.

Building on the modeling process, I began exploring how materials, lighting, and camera movement influence the way a scene is perceived. Through experimentation, I learned how these elements can shape mood, guide attention, and add depth to a composition. Animating the camera introduced a sense of movement, encouraging me to think about how viewers experience a scene over time. This process deepened my understanding of how technical tools can work together to support visual storytelling.
