Black Willow Chocolate
Step into a collection of chocolate bars inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright and his seamless blend of nature and architecture. Each bar features packaging adorned with stained-glass–inspired abstractions of his iconic buildings, transforming structural forms into bold geometric patterns. Influenced by organic shapes and the memory of a childhood black willow tree, these bars merge artistry and indulgence. Where thoughtful design becomes part of the experience, unwrapping creativity in every piece.
Inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright’s integration of nature, personal history, and stained glass, I created abstract renderings of two of his buildings in the style of his glasswork. These forms also inspired the chocolate flavor names through alliteration. The brand identity draws from Wright’s connection to home, reflected in a black willow tree from my own childhood that became central to the logo and name.
